Cala Comte: Ibiza's Most Beautiful Beach

Of all the extraordinary beaches that line Ibiza's western coastline, Cala Comte stands apart. The clarity of the water here — which cycles through every shade of blue and green, from pale mint in the shallows to deep cobalt offshore — has no equal on the island. The beach is actually composed of two coves: a larger main beach and a smaller upper cove separated by a rocky point. The upper cove is quieter and more secluded, preferred by families. Both share the same exceptional water quality and the same jaw-dropping panorama. The chiringuito above the beach serves decent food and cold drinks, and fills rapidly as the sun starts to descend.

In July and August, arrive before 10:30am or accept standing room only. Out of peak season (May, June, September), Cala Comte reveals its best self: warm, uncrowded, and endlessly beautiful.
